My approach focuses on helping your system unwind the patterns that keep your neck tight, guarded, or overworked so you can move with more ease and less strain.

Neck pain often shows up when the body is compensating. Common contributors include:

  • long hours at a desk or looking down at a phone
  • tension in the upper back and shoulders
  • shallow breathing patterns
  • stress or nervous‑system overload
  • limited mobility in the ribs or mid‑back
  • sleeping positions that keep the neck braced

Neck pain rarely comes from the neck alone — it’s usually part of a bigger pattern your body is trying to manage.

How Massage Helps

Instead of forcing tight muscles to “let go,” I use slow, intentional work that helps your system feel safe enough to release on its own. This may include:

  • gentle work around the neck and upper shoulders
  • easing tension in the upper back and chest
  • supporting smoother movement through the ribs
  • calming the nervous system so your body stops bracing
  • improving mobility in areas that influence the neck

What a Session Looks Like

Your session starts with a quick check‑in so I can understand what your neck is doing today. From there, I blend the approaches your body responds to best — Deep Mobility, Mobility Reset, and Performance Recovery — to support ease, comfort, and healthier movement patterns.

Most clients feel lighter, looser, and more open through the neck and shoulders by the end of the session.
